THE OUTWITH, AN INDEPENDENT DESIGN
MANAGEMENT RESOURCE
I have almost 12 years experience in the region and 24 years in design and construction, I founded The Outwith, with a clearly defined mission to serve as an independent design management resource, to offer impartial safeguard within the design and construction process.
My experience within both consultancy and contracting has allowed me to see the stretch of time to thoroughly review and coordinate.
I provide expert oversight and critical review of design work to ensure it meets standards, content, constructability, contract, and intent.
Acting as an objective third-party, I aim to protect the interests of clients, consultants, contractors, and project managers alike, offering clarity, accountability, and confidence through every stage of a project.
My purpose is not to disrupt, but to reinforce, strengthening outcomes by offering another set of expert eyes when it matters most.

Post Contract / Construction Supervision
As an isolated service or a bolt on to Developed or Detailed Design we can managed and police the design throughout the execution of the build, supporting the contractor with responsive and buildable solutions to allow the design to be realised. We can support with reviews, design inspections, workshops, and snagging.
Design Coordination, Developed & Detailed Design
We can either offer a flexible option for review of a specific or project wide coordination piece. We can also take a design from the completed Concept through either and / or both Schematic & Detailed Design to plug the gaps, coordinate the design, ensure the design can be built, constructability questions and guardian the concept through to site.
Design Management
A flexible service for either a specific project or project task, we can offer impartial design management of the design at whichever stage or all stages of design to support you and your team.
Peer Review / QA / QC
Flexible to a single package or complete project we will review the design package for compliance, buildability and offer solutions driven comments to mitigate potential construction, material, or other issues in advance.
Process Review
Review of internal drawing protocols, design flow, formatting, scheduling to ensure the most efficient route. We can support by reviewing this to ensure that the information is suitable and relevant for translation to contractors.
Local Designer
Many international designers are now working in the region but do not have capacity to be on the ground, know the local market, supply chain or code and we can step in to bridge this gap and offer a designer led conduit for projects.
